Artist's Comments
This was done for a married couple, friends of mine both of them. She recently underwent a bone marrow transplant to save her life, and God willing it will continue to work as well as it has been recently. Before this could be done, she underwent what must have been a torturous period of sitting, and waiting. That time inspired this picture. Time can be a good thing too, especially when, even if forced to merely sit, you do it with someone you love. I love you both Eric and Brandy.
About the picture, I wanted to do so much to it, that if I did it all I would be working on it for the rest of my life, I hope I did enough, and that they at least like it. The color profile is optimized for the hard copy I am sending them, and may not translate to a browser so well, and the drop in resolution is a huge hit to the picture. In any event, I hope all of you enjoy it as well. |
